"The Shah Capital logo closely resembles the "banyan", the national tree of India. Its intricate lattice structure grows slowly over time and eventually spreads over a vast area. The first banyan tree in the United States was planted by Thomas Edison as a gift from Harvey Firestone who visited India in 1925. This tree was chosen by Shah Capital as a symbol to represent three facets of our investment strategy. The complex branch system signifies the many securities that we evaluate.
